ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the first constituents of Mewar University. From its very inception, this department has established itself as an efficient, self-reliant, and quality-conscious entity with the sole aim of producing the most energetic, enthusiastic, and professionally competent Electronic Engineers who can take up the challenges posed to them.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is recognized by AICTE, which has a rich heritage and a strong reputation for R&D activities in Communications & VLSI Design.

The University initiated the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in the year of 2009 to impart quality education, training, and research with particular emphasis on skill development and employability of students.

The department boasts a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members who are passionate about teaching and research. They bring a wealth of industrial and academic expertise to the classroom, enabling students to gain practical insights into the field. The faculty members actively engage in research, publish papers in reputed journals, and participate in conferences, fostering an environment of intellectual growth and knowledge exchange.

The Department of ECE imparts knowledge and training in Electronic Devices and Circuits, Electromagnetic Fields and Waves, Signal Processing, Communication Circuits, Networking, VLSI design, Microprocessors, Microcontrollers, Instrumentation, Image Processing, Microwave, Fiber Optics, Satellite, Wireless Communications, Radar and Embedded Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of things.

The intensive training in these areas makes the students' good Electronics and Communication Engineers.
